A private security guard sustained injuries on Friday, February 27th, after being attacked by illegal miners within the underground mining area of Earl International Group Ghana Gold Ltd. This incident is the latest in a series of assaults targeting the company’s underground staff and security personnel by illegal miners who gain access through unauthorized tunnels.

Monday, August 12, 2024 – On the night of Saturday, August 10, 2024, 30 illegal miners were arrested in the underground mine area of Earl International Group Gold Ltd. The suspects were among over 200 unauthorized persons who invaded the mine at Shaft 2, levels 2 and 3, through illegal mining pits they had constructed.
