The National Chairman of the Ghana Mineworkers Union, Peter Baako Wilson, has embarked on a working visit to Earl International Ghana Gold Ltd in Gbane, Talensi District of the Upper East Region. This marks his first visit to the company since assuming office.
During the visit, Chairman Wilson emphasized the importance of prioritizing the welfare of workers and respecting the sanctity of the union. He urged the management of Earl International Ghana Gold Ltd to endeavor to meet the needs of its workers, fostering a harmonious working relationship between the company and the union.
The visit aimed to strengthen the union’s relationship with the company and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. The Ghana Mineworkers Union remains committed to promoting the interests of mineworkers across the country.
Acting General Manager of Earl, Tang Quingming pledged the company’s resolve to prioritize the needs of its workers. He noted that significant investments are currently being made to expand the operations of the company. This he added will result in the enhancement of workers remuneration and welfare when operations resume in full scale after the expansions works.
