DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF MINERALS COMMISSION PAYS WORKING VISIT TO EARL

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, management hosted a delegation from the Minerals Commission, led by Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Victoria Awuni, who oversees Policy Planning, Mineral Titles, and Local Content.

The team’s visit to the Gbane Gold Project operational site aimed to assess Earl’s compliance with local content and participation requirements as outlined in LI 2431 of the Minerals and Mining Regulations.

Assistant Public Relations Officer of Earl, Albert Azongo, presented the company’s current records on local content and participation, highlighting employment of locals, knowledge transfer, and procurement of local goods and services.

Azongo noted that the ongoing restructuring of Earl’s operations includes a significant increase in local participation, projected to have a high impact on the Upper East region’s economy through a local participation program aligned with mining regulations.

The Minerals Commission Deputy CEO commended Earl for its compliance, particularly with local content requirements, and urged management to continue increasing compliance.

She assured that the Commission would exercise its oversight responsibilities and guide mining companies to enhance their compliance levels.
