Chief Executive Officer of Earl International Group Gold Ghana Limited Mr. Wei Xing celebrated the 2024 Chinese New Year widely known as the Spring Festival with management staff at our operational base in Gbane – Talensi district of the upper east region.
Celebrated around the world, the festival recognizes the second new moon after the winter solstice and the beginning of spring, hence its literal name: the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year.
The Spring Festival is an annual event held in China and in Chinese communities around the world. This massive event takes place on different dates each year, but it typically begins during the beginning of February and continues until the middle of the same month. This year’s festival started on 10th February.
Mr Wei expressed gratitude to the management, staff and stakeholders of Earl International Group Gold Ghana Limited for their hard work and support to the company over the years which have significantly resulted in the growth and expansion of the mines.
The CEO disclosed that huge investments will continue to be made in the operations of the mines with improved operational standards, aimed at pegging the company among the top mining companies in Ghana in the coming years.
At a dinner event with management members, Mr Wei admonished management and staff to give in their best to sustain and grow Earl International, while pledging to acknowledge and reward hardworking staff.
